Latest Miami Dolphins Coaching Staff Addition
The Miami Dolphins have filled their final open coaching staff position with the hiring of John Benton as assistant offense of line coach, as per reports head coach Joe Philbin made the decision to bring him aboard.
The Miami Dolphins will need all the help they can get from his experience and success in the nfl, John Benton has spent the last eight seasons as the offense line coach for the Houston Texans. As coach during the seasons of 2010-2012 recorded the top three rushing seasons in franchise history, also helped the Texans lead the NFL with twenty-six individual 100 yard rushing games since 2010.
I am not a fan of Jim Turner the current offensive line coach, so i hope Benton comes in provides that experience that success and that drive to improve a unit that allowed a franchise record 58 sacks in 2013. In my opinion he will have a chance to mold and teach a new group because presently the starting group features only one returning starter under Contract that player is Mike Pouncey.
John Benton is the Miami Dolphins third new coach, the other new coaches that have been added have been Bill Lazor as offensive coordinator, Mark Duffner as new linebackers coach.
